Consultation Pricing
Personalized Home Consultation | $250
Every home is different, and so are the needs of the people living in it. At The Functional Home, we provide individualized consultations designed to identify practical solutions that support safety, accessibility, independence, and everyday living.
Your $250 consultation includes two hours of service from our two-person consulting team:
1 Hour | In-Home Consultation
During our visit, we work with you to understand your home environment, daily routines, and individual needs.
This includes:
Discussing your needs, concerns, and priorities
Assessing your home environment and identifying functional barriers
Exploring opportunities to improve safety, accessibility, and independence
Discussing practical solutions, adaptive equipment, and potential home modifications
1 Hour | Professional Review & Documentation
Following your visit, our team reserves one hour to review findings, complete documentation, and develop your personalized recommendation report.
This includes:
Reviewing observations and information gathered during your consultation
Identifying and prioritizing recommendations based on your needs
Developing a written report outlining practical solutions and suggested modifications
Providing a personalized resource to help guide your next steps
Your written report is included in the $250 consultation fee.
Additional Consultation Time | $150/hour
Some homes or circumstances may require additional time for assessment, consultation, planning, or documentation.
Time beyond the services included in your initial consultation is billed at $150 per hour for our two-person consulting team.
We will discuss any additional time and associated fees with you in advance.
Travel Fees
Our standard consultation fees apply within our designated local service area.
Appointments outside this area may be subject to additional travel fees based on location and distance.
We will communicate any applicable fees before your appointment.
